Awardit Voucher Adapter

Overview

The Awardit Adapter integrates Awardit gift cards and loyalty rewards with Norce Checkout, enabling merchants to accept Awardit vouchers as a payment method during checkout. Unlike traditional payment service providers, the Awardit Adapter handles voucher-based payments where customers redeem gift card balances to cover part or all of their order total.

This adapter is part of Norce Checkout (NCO) and manages the complete gift card payment lifecycle from initial card validation through final redemption, including balance checks, authorization, and commitment of funds.

Limitations:

  • Partial capture is not supported (gift cards are redeemed in full for the covered amount)
