This article explains how to configure product feeds in Norce Commerce. Product feeds allow you to export product catalog data to external systems, such as marketplaces, search services, or other integrations. The guide covers required setup steps, preparation, configuration instructions, and further resources.
Before configuring product feeds, ensure the following setup steps are completed:
- You have created a client and at least one application in Norce Commerce.
- Additional applications are created if needed.
- The price list structure is decided and market price lists are set up.
Before starting the product feed configuration, gather the following information and make key decisions:
- Target Systems: Identify which external systems require product catalog updates, how often updates are needed, and which data should be included.
- Assortments and Pricing: Determine if any target systems require special assortments or pricing, beyond the default application assortment.
Tip: Document all requirements for each target system to ensure correct feed configuration.
Follow these steps to set up product feeds in Norce Commerce:
- Access the Feed Tab:
Go to the Feed tab in the Admin UI. - Create Feeds for Each Application:
For each required feed, switch between your different applications and create the feed.- Configure the product feed settings as described in the Product Feed Configuration Guide.
- Enable Delta Tracking:
Configure how changes (deltas) are tracked for feeds. This setting applies to all feeds within the client.- Go to the Client Setting tab and enable "tracking of delta tables".
- Go to the delta configurations tab and adjust settings to track only the changes you need. See Delta Configuration Guide for details.
Note: Each feed can be tailored to the needs of its target system, including assortment and pricing.
After the initial setup, you may want to:
- Adjust feed configurations for specific target requirements.
- Set up additional feeds for new applications or channels.
