Release notes April 2025

During this period, we have primarily worked with product search and filtering in the Admin tool. And also some "facelift" of the UI in different places.

Admin Features

Improvements of product search and filtering

Paging long lists

The control for paging long lists, like the product list has been improved, you can now put in the page number directly in an input field, instead of paging back or forward one step at a time.

Filter on manually overridden values

A new type of filter has been added that makes it possible to find manually overridden rules of values on products or prices.

This makes it possible to find and clear manually changed rules by first filter on the overridden values and then clear the values with the batch update function.

The settings section The settings fields can be set on the primary category, while this filter will find all products of variants that have an overridden value.

The price field section The price field section needs to have the price list filter selected first, to work.

VAT code The VAT code field will check for overridden value on products on the current sales area (selected in the admin header)

New filter choices for missing content

Even more missing content choices is added.

Text fields No change.

Price fields Filter on missing price fields. Needs to have the price list filter selected first, to work.

Main Image Main image is moved to its own section and Alt text is added. This will filter alt texts on the current culture.

Additional images Filter on missing images of a chosen type. Alt text will filter on any missing alt texts images for all types.

Relations Filter on missing relations of chosen type.

Settings Filter on missing settings values.

Flags and Parametrics No change. s

Updated UI

Currently we are going through almost all pages, tabs and views in the Admin UI to make them simpler and clear to use.

We will add tooltips and validatons where needed and additional functionality in some cases, to make it more intiutive and easier to use.

More will come.

Category page

Detail tab

Detail tab is clearer and easier to manage. Only the most important fields are shown and the other fields are grouped under two different expandable headers - Default settings and additional settings.

• pcs is now the default value of UOM
• Tooltips are added where needed
• Search on code as well as name in drop lists

Parametrics tab

• Open parametric or parametric group in new tab with one click
• Hoover over parametrics and group name and their description is shown as tooltip
• Code is now shown as its separate column
• Search on code as well as name in add parametrics or add groups drop lists
• Added clarity by using tags on the parametrics in the list, like "promoted to filter"

Filter tab

• Code is now shown as its separate column
• Search on code as well as name in add parametrics filter drop lists

Delivery settings

• Open delivery method in new tab with one click
• Hoover over delivery method name and description is shown as tooltip
• Tooltips are added where needed

Price lists

Sales area is shown as a new column in the price lists list view.

Settings tab

• Open parent price list in new tab with one click
• Tooltips are added where needed

Warehouses tab

• Number of connected warehouses is shown in the tab name

Supplier price list tab

• Number of connected supplier price lists is shown in the tab name

Parametrics page

In the edit view of parametrics there are a few changes

• Tooltips are added where needed
• Internal Id's are shown where needed, for solution design convenience

Product settings

File types

• New icon to show if the type is an image or file type
• (mime) Type Id is shown in list and edit views, for solution design convenience

Manufacturer details tab

Patches and fixes

• Promotions (Norce Commerce and Norce [Storm])
  • Requirement quantity type is not changed when clearing quantity or setting it to 0.
  • Simple requirement quantity displays correctly when creating an advanced product filter with one filter and quantity on the product row.
  • Correct variant name is always shown in AddProduct effect with variants.
  • Price filter can now be removed in advanced product filter effect.
• Bug fixes related to promotion usages not being calculated correctly (Norce Commerce)
• Bug fixes related to promotions being applied multiple times when using NetsEasy
• Code can now be used to connect and disconnect products from variants in product import.
• Added setting to activate legacy AddProduct promotion effect that reuses existing basket items if they match the added product.
• Updated the status page integration to show the Norce Commerce statuses.

Minor issues

• The 'MonthsBackForOrderSource' client setting is now used to determine how many months back order sources should be fetched.
• General: Fixed issue where admin panel remained accessible after token expiration. (Norce Commerce)
• Product list: Improved performance of product exports. (Norce Commerce)
• Promotions: Added "changed by" information for each requirement and effect.
