Norce Academy trainings

Norce Academy provides two fundamental trainings - Developer and User and an additional training called Solution Architect.

These three are all different, with minimum overlap, different target groups and content.

But many people will find that they might benefit from participating in more than one of the trainings, depending on what they do with Norce solutions.

Academy provides client specific and tailor made trainings as well, see below.

User fundamentals

For people who want to understand the functional aspects of the product, and to work with Norce Commerce's Admin tool.

Target groups

Primary - users, super users

Secondary - business consultant, project manager, solution architect, stake-holders, technical pre-sales

Developer fundamentals

For people who want to understand the technical aspects of the product, and to build solutions with Norce Commerce.

Target groups

Primary: developers, system integrators, tech-leads

Secondary: super users, solution architects

Solution architecture

For people who want to understand how to set up, configure and design client solutions with Norce Commerce.

Target groups

Primary: solution architects, project managers, tech leads

Secondary: super users, stake holders

Format

All three trainings are about one day long and are online courses. Usually managed through Microsoft Teams. Shorter breaks and a longer lunch break. About one day before an email is sent with detailed information to the participants, including a microsoft teams meeting link.

(*) For each course occation there is a max fee for an organization registering many participants.

Tailor-made, client-specific trainings

It might be preferable to have a client specific-training, especially when onboarding as a new client with Norce. This makes it possible for us to make the training more tailor-made, for example it can be in the client’s own test environment, and deep-dive in more specific subjects, and having time for more discussions and questions more specific for the client's needs.

(*) preparation usually means a pre-meeting a couple of weeks before, going through the client needs and wants, another meeting with the solution partner about the setup. And then a couple of hours prep time.

(**) same price as a training on Norce location, but with additional cost for travel and living for the instructors.

Bundles

For clients onboarding with Norce solutions, we have a bundle offering. When onboarding as a new client, there might be a need to start training early in the project, and later have several follow-ups. The client needs to know different things at different times during the project, and new staff might be enrolled later as well. Therefore we have prepared a suite of tailor-made trainings to make it possible to span out the learning into several occations.

When registering the participant provides information about the company that should be invoiced the course fee. Registering to the training must be done at the latest 48 hours before the course start.
