# Product relations

Product relations can be utilized in multiple ways. For instance, you may want to relate products as upsell or cross-sell, or perhaps add relationships as accessories. With product relations, you can establish your own relationship types and connect products manually or automatically.

## Creating a product relations

After setting up your relationship types, you can create relationships between products on the **Relations** tab of the product page. You can create several relationships per product, each of which can be of different types, including:

- Product (All Variants) to Product (All Variants)
- Product (All Variants) to a specific Variant
- A specific Variant to one or more specific Variant


## Adding a product relation

To add a product relation, follow these steps:

1. Select whether the relation should be for All Variants or one specific variant.
2. Search for the product that you want to create a relationship with.
3. Add the selected product.
4. Select if the relationship should be to specific variants or to All Variants.
5. Set the Relationship Type.
6. Save your changes.
