# Setup: Configure competitor pricing

Norce can handle pricing based on competitor data imported from a third party.

## Required steps

- Set up a pricing structure


## Preparations

How to set up competitor pricing requires:

- Build an integration of competitor data (must be done through Commerce Connect)
- Ask Norce to activate all competitors initially on all categories (makes it easier to get started)


## How-to

- Create a Competitor [price list](https://norce-open-demo.admin-se.playground.norce.tech/pricing/pricelist) (inherits from standard price list or market price list) for each market.
- Set competitor price rules.
- Set [category competitor](https://norce-open-demo.admin-se.playground.norce.tech/category) positioning and priority
- Activate competitor pricing by setting population rules on the price list and set the price list to **Public**
